Storeman – Civils Project

Sphere Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Storeman to join a major civils project in South Wales.
We're looking for someone with previous experience working on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects who can take responsibility for the efficient management of the site's stores, plant and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the site stores, tool and material storage areas
- Receiving and recording deliveries
- Tracking and chasing outstanding material orders
- Carrying out initial inspections of plant and equipment
- Communicating plant off-hires with the office
- Making concrete cubes and carrying out slump tests
- Maintaining accurate records and stock levels
- Ensuring the stores are organised, safe and compliant
- Working closely with the site management team to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Storeman on a large civils or infrastructure project
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction materials, plant and tools
- Experience carrying out concrete cube and slump testing is desirable
- CSCS Card (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous
