Pay
- £13.00 – £19.50 per hour (weekdays, depending on experience & grade)
- £14.00 per hour (weekends)
- Enhanced Bank Holiday rates
- Paid mileage between clients
About Novus Care
Novus Care is a family-run, CQC-rated "Good" home care provider supporting vulnerable adults to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our expanding team covering Hockley and the surrounding areas of Essex.
Whether you're experienced in care or looking to start a rewarding new career, we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll visit clients in their own homes, providing high-quality, person-centred care that helps them maintain their independence and quality of life.
No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's lives every day.
Shift Patterns Available
We offer flexible shifts to fit around your availability:
- Morning: 6:30am – 11:30am
- Lunch: 11:30am – 2:30pm
- Tea: 2:30pm – 6:30pm
- Bed Calls: 6:30pm – 11:00pm
✔ Full-time and part-time roles available
✔ Flexible rotas
✔ Alternate weekends or a minimum of one day each weekend
Your Responsibilities
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting clients with medication
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition
- Helping with mobility and daily living tasks
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Promoting independence and wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with clients and their families
What We're Looking For
- Kind, caring and dependable individuals
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential as full training is provided

Location
This community-based role covers Hockley and surrounding areas across Essex, supporting clients in their own homes.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
