UK University Search are one of the largest providers of student events in the United Kingdom. We run large scale fairs to help students aged 15 to 19 choose their next steps in higher education and careers.
We are looking for 8 events assistants to help out at our Leicester UK University & Apprenticeship Search fair event on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at Leicester Tigers Welford Road Stadium.
Date: 30/09/2026
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Pay: 7 hours (£12.71/hour) + £5 for Lunch
Event Location: Leicester Tigers' Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium, Leicester LE2 7TR
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong command of English
- Confident when interacting with members of the public
- Well organised, reliable, and able to work independently
- DBS certificate desirable
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Stewarding students, teachers and exhibitors throughout the venue
- Handing out promotional materials and directing attendees
- Answering questions and providing general assistance to fair visitors
- Managing the registration desk and supporting the check‑in process
- Scanning tickets and monitoring attendee flow
