- Pay Rate: £13.06 per hour
- Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 06:00–18:00
- Weekend Work: Yes, weekends are included as part of the shift pattern
- Start Date: ASAP
- Job Type: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent
The Role
As a Production Operative, your main responsibilities will include:
- Unloading deliveries from suppliers and accurately recording traceability information
- Checking and putting away deliveries in designated areas
- Loading lorries ready for dispatch
- Organising and maintaining the warehouse to ensure it is always audit-ready
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
- Following all hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to ensure daily operational targets are met
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties required by the business
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, food production or similar environment
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A calm and reliable approach, particularly when working under pressure
- A good understanding of workplace health and safety
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
