Crowhurst Park Holiday Village – Battle, East Sussex
Are you a passionate, reliable chef looking for casual work in a friendly, family-run environment?
Crowhurst Park is looking for a Casual Chef to join our kitchen team at the Manor House.
We are a five-star, family-owned holiday park set in beautiful East Sussex, with a busy restaurant, café lounge, bar and regular events throughout the year. Our menus change seasonally and we take pride in using fresh, local produce wherever possible.
The role
You'll be working alongside our existing kitchen team, helping us provide delicious, freshly prepared food for our holiday guests, owners and visitors.
The role will include:
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard
- Working across our restaurant and café menus
- Helping with busy service periods and events
- Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team but also able to work alone
- Following our recipes and presentation standards while bringing your own skills and enthusiasm to the kitchen
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working in a professional kitchen
- Takes pride in producing good-quality, freshly prepared food
- Works well under pressure and as part of a team
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
- Has a good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
