Based in the heart of Clifton Village, DBM Wines is a successful wine company that prides itself on integrity and quality as the basis of the business. We are a small team, covering fine wine, En-Primeur and everyday requirements of our customers through our popular shop.
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working individual to run our shop in Clifton. Our shop is elegant and professional without being stuffy – and we are looking for a person to reflect this.
We aim to provide the highest level of service and trust to ensure DBM is first and foremost when it comes to our customers wine. It is essential that our customers are looked after with the greatest possible care. As the person most customers will see first, the successful candidate will need to look smart and professional and have a good working knowledge of wine to match our customers’ expectations.
In addition, you will take part in tasting panels to help select wines for purchase and to maintain our diverse range, as well as assisting DBM hosted tastings, events and support the running of our wider business operation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the shop team, providing guidance and support to optimise performance
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage stock levels, merchandising, and visual presentation to maximise sales potential
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Ensure high standards of customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette
- Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, record keeping, and inventory management
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop environment

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
