We Offer:
- Permanent part-time Assistant Cook position (25 hours contract)
- £12.91 per hour
- Day shifts between 06:30am -19:30pm
- Rotating shifts (including weekends)

The role:
Duties
- Assist the Head Cook in the preparation of meals, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is prepared and stored safely.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Support the team during meal service by plating dishes and ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
