An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a School Administrative Assistant at Bailey’s Court Primary School.
This is a part time, term time only position for 19.5 hours per week (8.30am-4pm), over 3 days (preferably Wed-Fri)
Salary: HAY 10 £27,709-£29,071 FTE
We are seeking someone who is friendly, organised and motivated to join our welcoming primary school community. This role is central to the day-to-day running of the school and plays an important part in supporting pupils, families, staff and visitors.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and office staff, the successful candidate will help ensure out school office is efficient, approachable and child-centered.
Key Responsibilities:
v Providing front of house support, welcoming parents, pupils and visitors
v Managing telephone calls, emails and general correspondence
v Assisting with general school administration, including co-ordination of work experience, chasing payments, first-aid/medical admin, ordering of school milk, HR admin including staff absence, DBS checks and maintaining staff records
v Administering additional activities e.g. school trips, cycle training
v Using the school management information system accurately and confidentially
v Maintaining pupil records and supporting data administration

v Experience in an administrative role (school experience desirable but not essential)
v A calm, professional and approachable manner
v Having a ‘can-do’ attitude and strong initiative for the variety of situations each day may bring
v Confidence using IT systems and handling sensitive information
