A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join us on a prestigious contract in London. This opportunity consists of a Monday-Friday working pattern between the hours of 07:00-16:00/ 08:00-17:00/ 09:00-18:00.

Purpose:
To carry out PPM, reactive and breakdown works to all Electrical systems within the site. Engineers must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge of Air conditioning, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find using the production of graphical information and the utilisation of current alarm data.
Operate and manage all engineering assets to support the business with no unplanned disruptions in the most cost-effective manner. Manage reactive works process to ensure requests are responded to and closed out in accordance with agreed procedures. To develop management tools to actively report on asset and building performance and make recommendations for improvement.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine PPM to all electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
- Maintain completion of reactive tasks throughout the building and proactively highlight areas where improvements can be made. These reactive calls also include concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
- Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
- Verify that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. Provide parts inventory and estimated timescales to complete remedial works.
- Maintain the Computer Based Maintenance system, e.g. Concept, Smart Hub, ensuring it is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
- Complete all relevant paperwork relating to reactive and breakdown works and pass it without delay to the contract administrator.
- Prepare and utilise Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks undertaken to promote safe working practices at all times.
- Keep all plant rooms under the responsibility of Smart locked at all times and maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
Education and Training:
- Formally trained in City and Guilds Electrical Installations or the equivalent NVQ and Building Services maintenance.
- 18th Edition BS7671 City and Guilds
