Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team at Rossmere Park Care Home in GB. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional care to our residents, supporting their daily needs with kindness and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the care team in implementing individual care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Support medication administration under supervision.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance caregiving skills.
Qualifications Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate empathy.
- Valid driving license is advantageous.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Compassionate attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs.
- Relevant certifications or training in health and social care are desirable.
