Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing (New Build Housing), maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. Duties
- Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Conducting routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults
- Using hand tools and power tools to complete installation and repair tasks accurately
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and project teams to ensure timely project completion
- Maintaining detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills, saws, and grinders
- Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Valid electrical licence or certification in accordance with local regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights as required

Pay: £41,600.00-£62,000.00 per year
