Robot Weld Operator
Location: Ifor Williams Trailers, Tyn Llidiart Industrial Estate, Corwen, Denbighshire, LL21 9RR
Salary: up to £14.71 + Skill increment dependent on experience
Shifts:
- Varied hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 6am - 6pm / Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am - 6pm / Saturday to Sunday 6am - 6pm

Unique in our approach, our in-house operations and investment programme includes Laser and CNC Punch Profile Cutting, CNC Machining, Robotic and Manual Welding, Hot Dip Galvanising and Composites. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Robot Weld operators , to deliver excellence and add value to the business.
With a background in providing service and support on robots or robotic systems, ideally, you will be experienced with ABB and Autotech cells and will have practised ABB/ Autotech robot welding programming and ABB robot operating skills at a high level.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate MIG Robot – ABB and Autotech robot cells
- Read and work from detailed engineering drawings
- Perform quality checking and inspection of parts
- Meet production deadlines
- Run a series of robots to carry out various welding operations
- Be able to do basic preventative maintenance and other repairs on robot-driven equipment
- Operate machinery as directed
- Able to understand production work with a fast-paced manufacturing environment and able to meet customer deadlines
- Problem solve as and when required Knowledge of manual MIG Weld is an advantage
