In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals that delight our guests and uphold our standards of food safety and presentation. This position offers a flexible schedule perfect for individuals who love cooking and want to showcase their culinary talents in a dynamic environment. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and serving will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our customers. MUST have exp short order cooking ability as this is a very fast paced kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for use
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple cooking stations
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively before serving
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist in various kitchen tasks as needed
