We are seeking reliable and professional Security Officers to join our team. Officers will be deployed across various client sites within designated regions, ensuring the safety and security of premises, assets, staff, and visitors. Flexibility to travel and work across multiple locations is essential. Experience in Retail, Static, Corporate Security environments is essential. The relief officer will be required to work at locations across Redruth, Falmouth, Halston, St Ives, Penzance
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence at all assigned sites
- Control access and egress of personnel, visitors, and vehicles
- Carry out regular patrols and site inspections to deter and detect suspicious activity
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems where applicable
- Complete daily incident and patrol reports accurately and promptly
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Liaise with site staff, emergency services, and control rooms as needed
- Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment
Requirements:
- SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) – essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle – desirable due to travel between sites
- Previous experience in security or a similar role – preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to work varied hours and locations
- Right to work in the UK
- UK Resident for at least 5 Years
