Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training new cooks and assisting with team management.
- Maintain inventory control, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures related to food production.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
