Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient bubble Tea Barista (variable hours) to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the cleanliness of the work environment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till system with basic maths skills
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times
- Assist with food preparation tasks when required, ensuring quality standards are met
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
