We are looking for exceptional Key Workers who are passionate about helping young people develop the confidence, skills and resilience they need to achieve independence and positive futures.
This is not simply a support role. We are seeking dedicated professionals who understand the importance of building trusting relationships, setting high expectations, and helping young people work towards meaningful goals whilst ensuring their safety, wellbeing and personal development.

- Can work collaboratively with social workers, personal advisers, education providers and other professionals.
The Role
As a Key Worker, you will:
- Act as a positive role model for young people aged 16–18.
- Develop and maintain high-quality person-centred support plans.
- Deliver purposeful key work sessions linked directly to identified needs, risks, goals and outcomes.
- Support young people with life skills including budgeting, cooking, tenancy readiness, education, employment and healthy relationships.
- Promote emotional wellbeing, safety and positive decision-making.
- Support young people to engage with education, training and employment opportunities.
- Record high-quality, outcome-focused reports and key work sessions.
- Participate in safeguarding processes and risk management planning.
- Advocate for young people and ensure their voices are heard.
- Help young people develop the confidence and skills required for successful independent living.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with young people, care leavers or vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
- Competent written and recording skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends where required.
- Full UK Driving Licence (desirable).
