Reporting to the Deputy Head of Venues (Events), the role supports the management of the Venues Department, with responsibility for the live music operation, including administration, event management and commercial performance. The role also provides technical oversight across all events delivered by the department and supports a range of departmental administrative functions.
The role acts as the primary point of contact for all live music events, managing relationships with promoters, agents, clients, contractors and other stakeholders from initial enquiry through to event delivery and post-event review. In addition, the role supports the planning and delivery of corporate, nightclub, public, student group and internal events, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure they are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Working with colleagues across the organisation and external partners, the role contributes to the continued growth and commercial success of the Venues Department by identifying opportunities to increase income, developing strong client relationships, improving operational efficiency and controlling costs, while ensuring all activity is delivered safely, professionally and in line with organisational objectives.
