Location:Exeter
Salary:Uncapped bonus scheme
Hours:Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis paid at time and a half to increase your earnings!
We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join the electric journey, in our thriving Aftersales team at BYD of Exeter!

The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs, completing vehicle inspections, and ensuring all work meets BYDs standards for quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Technician responsibilities:
-
Performs all maintenance services in line with the company and Mercedes-Benz standards and processes

Completes a comprehensive diagnosis and repair job sheet
-
Carries out all repair work using all available workshop information systems necessary to store vehicle system functions

Advises Service Team Manager of any additional work required

Carries out a final inspection and function tests on all complex repair work

Completes final documentation for invoicing
What's required from you?
-
Previous experience within the Motor industry, preferably experience with passenger cars

Certified technician qualifications (Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance)

A strong team player with great attention to detail

Openness to learning and developing within the service industry
