Monday to Thursday | 2:30pm - 11:00pm
£14.95 per hour during probation, rising to £16.05 per hour upon successful completion of probation (includes 10% shift enhancement)
32 paid hours per week
£24,875 - £26,706 per annum

Riverside Recruitment are looking for an experienced Lead Operative to join a successful and growing food manufacturing operation in the Chew Magna area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or food production experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. You'll play a key part in supporting production operations, maintaining high standards, and driving team performance on the afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising daily production line activities
- Supporting, coaching and motivating production staff
- Driving operational efficiency and productivity
- Operating and maintaining production equipment
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards
- Monitoring product quality and production performance
- Reporting downtime, issues and production data
What We're Looking For
- Previous manufacturing or food production experience
- Team Leader, Senior Operative or Supervisory experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive, proactive and hands-on approach
