Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join our team in Thorne, Doncaster.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join our operations in the Warehouse at Thorne. Thorne is an AA BRCGS food-grade facility, where we handle a range of products, from raw materials, finished goods, and packaging. In this role, you will be responsible for helping manage the team on a day-to-day basis, to ensure all activities and targets are met, while ensuring all health and safety requirements are being met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Scheduling and supervising the activities and the functions of the warehouse team.
· Ensuring the proper and timely completion of all warehouse activities.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards in all warehouse activities.
· Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.
· Assist in the organisation of training and development for warehouse staff.
Required / preferred qualifications:
· Ideal experience in a similar role.
· Knowledge of compliance regulations.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with warehouse management systems ideal but not essential.
