Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Driver/Labourer to join our team over the age of 25 due to insurance purposes. This role involves collecting And sorting Waste, supporting warehouse operations, and assisting with general labour tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous delivery driver experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, ensuring timely Waste Collections from various locations across the south coast.
- Assist with loading and unloading Waste, demonstrating proficiency in heavy lifting and manual handling
- Support warehouse activities such as stock organisation, inventory checks, and general maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate Collections/deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate collection documentation and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies
- Follow all health and safety regulations during driving and labour tasks to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence or equivalent qualification
- Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
- Organised, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the stamina to handle long periods of standing or manual labour tasks

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
