Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely arrival and excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, including verifying recipient details and obtaining signatures when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times or issues
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle
- Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic logs related to deliveries
- Report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly to management
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of commercial driving procedures
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type (Manua, will be driving long wheel based vans)
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and safety standards
This position requires a dedicated individual capable of managing multiple deliveries daily while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Applicants should be organised, physically fit, and possess strong driving skills to succeed in this role.

Pay: £150.00-£400.00 per day
