Partner with Priory
Thinking about moving into private practice but not sure where to start? Or already working independently and looking for the security of regular referrals? Partnering with Priory allows you to build your practice with confidence — without the stress of going it alone.
Priory Hospital Chelmsford is seeking a Sessional ADOS/ADIR Assessor to join our team.
This is a sessional, site-based role, offering flexibility to support the ASC Assessment Team as and when required, in line with business needs and service demand.
At Priory, you’ll be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care that helps people move forward with confidence and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
You will play a key role in patients’ recovery, contributing to assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic delivery, while working within strong clinical governance frameworks.
What we offer:
- Steady patient flow – referrals provided, so you can focus on therapy rather than marketing
- Credibility & trust – work under the nationally recognised Priory brand
- Clinical and admin support – access to clinical space, billing, and administrative support
- Flexibility – choose the days and hours that suit you
- Team connection – the independence of self-employment without professional
Essential for the role
You will have at least two years’ experience delivering Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) assessments to support the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in both children and adults. You will have a strong understanding of autism assessment and diagnostic processes and be confident working with individuals across a range of ages and needs.
Starting out or expanding in private practice can feel daunting. Partnering with Priory removes much of that burden while preserving your professional independence.
Practical details:
- Competitive sessional rates with active patient flow
- Autonomy – you manage your own caseload
- Flexible workload – typically 8–15 sessions per week (more or fewer by choice)
- Background checks – DBS and regulatory checks covered by Priory
- On-site benefits – free or discounted parking
If you’re committed to making a difference and want to work flexibly within a supportive, professional environment, we’d love to hear from you.
