Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Assistant to join our dynamic team on-site at our Chudleigh offices. In this vital role, you will manage the administrative backbone of our practice, ensuring absolute adherence to regulatory standards and maintaining our reputation for integrity.
Please note: To strictly protect our clients' highly sensitive financial data, all work must be completed securely within our physical office environment. There is absolutely no scope for remote or home working.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Onboarding: Guide new clients seamlessly into our practice.
- AML Monitoring: Manage critical Anti-Money Laundering checks, risk assessments, and internal logs.
- Data Management: Keep client records, correspondence, and contact information perfectly up to date.
- Workflow Integrity: Upload incoming government correspondence and ensure internal task workflows are maintained without a hitch.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews of client files and reports to ensure flawless accuracy.
What We Are Looking For
You do not need a background in accountancy to excel here—we provide full annual AML training from day one! To be successful, you must have:

- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or quality assurance role.
- Education: A minimum of GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
- Skills: Flawless attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and tech adaptability (you must be highly comfortable navigating online IT systems).
- Environment: A friendly approach, a love for top-tier customer service, and comfort working around dogs (we have four-legged colleagues in the office!).
Note: Due to the nature of financial compliance, a full standard DBS check and satisfactory references are required before your official start date.
Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
