Job description
This job is regarding looking after my son. He is a young adult and has a muscle weakening condition called Muscular Dystrophy and as such is permanently wheelchair bound requiring help with all daily activities for which I will provide all the training, I am his mother as well as carer. Daily tasks are outlined below:
- Personal care.
- Supporting/Assisting clients with toileting and all aspects of personal hygiene.
- Supporting with use of aids to daily living.
- Preparation of snacks and meals according to client’s likes/dislikes.
- Supporting with feeding as required.
- Domestic / Household Services.
- General cleaning duties.
- Companionship duties and getting clients active in their communities.
- Recording and reporting each visit and recording medication taken by clients.
- Supporting/Assisting with medication.

Requirements
Essential
- Good level of spoken English
- Good level of written English
- Right to work in the UK
- Own a smartphone
- Must have some health and /or social care background
Desirable
- Work experience in caring for a physically disabled person
- Enhanced DBS (to be done by the person applying for the job)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
