We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join a growing team supporting the delivery of a high-volume programme of variable works projects across a large government estate. This opportunity has arisen due to expansion within the project team to support increasing project volumes across the estate
Job Description
We are looking for professionals who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder engagement and delivery standards. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
One position will cover the North region (Yorkshire and above) and one position will cover the South region (London/Birmingham and surrounding areas, extending as far as Cornwall when required). Travel to sites is typically required 2 to 3 days per week.

Manage multiple building and engineering projects valued between £5,000 and £150,000.
Lead projects through all stages of the project lifecycle in line with RIBA processes.
Develop project plans and ensure delivery against agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
Interpret client requirements and develop project scopes.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, project teams and key stakeholders.
Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders across the programme.
Allocate resources effectively and support project governance and customer relationship management activities.
Oversee project delivery, compliance and risk management across multiple projects.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Essential Experience and Qualifications
Project management experience within construction, M&E, HVAC, fit-out or refurbishment environments.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Understanding of construction processes and project delivery methodologies.
Familiarity with NEC4 contracts.
APM Level 4, 5 or 7.
Experience within a government, facilities management, construction or project services environment.
SMSTS certification.
Competence in project management software and reporting tools.
Full driving licence.
