Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Multi Utility Designer/Estimator to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing comprehensive utility solutions and accurately estimating project costs for diverse infrastructure projects. Your expertise will ensure that designs are both functional and cost-effective, supporting the successful execution of projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed utility designs for multi-utility infrastructure projects, including electrical, water, gas, and communication systems.
- Prepare precise and comprehensive project estimates by analyzing drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and clients to refine designs and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Conduct thorough cost control analyses throughout the project lifecycle to optimize resource allocation and budget adherence.
- Review and validate design calculations, material quantities, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in procurement processes by providing detailed estimates for materials, labour, and equipment needs.
- Monitor project progress against budgets, identifying potential overruns early and implementing corrective measures.
Experience
- Proven experience in utility design or estimation within infrastructure or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of multi-utility systems including electrical, water supply, gas pipelines, and communication networks.
- Demonstrated ability to control costs effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proficiency with design software tools such as AutoCAD, or equivalent program is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise estimations and efficient designs.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Prior experience working on large-scale projects that required meticulous cost management is highly desirable.

Pay: £45,000.00-£56,000.00 per year
