This is an exciting opportunity to join the fast based and high profile team Strategic Communications and Engagement Delivery unit. The Unit provides strategic communications support to the organisation and leads on communicating and engaging on high profile programmes of work such as the work and health agenda.
In this role you will play a hands-on role in developing and delivering a range of exciting communications and engagement activity . In particular, you will provide expert advice for the programme that helps connect health, employment and prevention priorities for local people, working closely with system partners including local authorities, employment support providers . You will also develop engaging and ac cessible content that bring our priorities to life for staff, partners and residents with a focus on improving the health and lives of the residents of North and West London .
The successful candidate will have the ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders, craft excellent narratives, and understand how to engage partners in the ICB’s work successfully .
Key duties will include:
Providing expert advice and support to managers and colleagues in to support the delivery of communications and engagement objectives
Delivering priority projects such as the work and health programme , as well as briefing, commissioning and managing external suppliers and specialist capacity where needed
Building strong relationships with partners across boroughs and at system level - including local authorities . employment support providers, VCSE organisations and NHS colleagues
Creating clear, accessible public facing communications and engagement materials that translate complex work and health issues into straightforward, engaging messaging
Supporting supervision and development of more junior colleagues in the wider team

Essential criteria includes :
Excellent judgement with the ability to analyse complex communications and engagement issues and advise on the best course of action
Confidence and expertise to provide advice to senior directors and managers, with the ability to provide challenge as appropriate
Able to provide and receive highly complex , sensitive information, where co-operation and agreement are required
Skilled at creating and delivering presentations for use across a range of audiences, including staff, managers, stakeholders and the media
Confident using a range of digital communications software, including eMarketing, web publishing, data analytics and video editing tools
Able to juggle multiple priorities, demonstrating positivity, creativity, flexibility and openness to new ideas and change
