About the Role
My Education Online (MEO) is a British-curriculum online school built around four pillars: emotional intelligence, financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a Geography Teacher who sees teaching not as content delivery, but as a form of mentorship and stewardship.
This is a fully remote, full-time position teaching Geography to students following the British Curriculum. Beyond subject delivery, you will help students understand people, places, and their own responsibility within the world.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Geography lessons in line with the British National Curriculum (KS3, GCSE, and/or A-Level as applicable)
- Foster curiosity about physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global cultures
- Identify disengagement or struggle early, before it shows in grades
- Naturally embed emotional intelligence, financial literacy, entrepreneurial thinking, and responsible AI use into case studies and inquiry-based tasks
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Collaborate within a remote, international teaching team
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching the British Geography Curriculum
- Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography
- Excellent communication and digital teaching skills
- A genuine, long-term view of teaching as mentorship, not a transitional role
