We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our team for the upcoming summer season. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. A background in hospitality or hotel cleaning is advantageous, as we strive to provide exceptional service and uphold our reputation for excellence.
Normal working hours are 9.45am - 6.00pm, although this may vary.
The role begins on a probationary rate of £13.70, to be reviewed in the first month of employment with the potential to rise to £14.00 for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to ensure high hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces throughout the facility.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily cleaning goals efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service are essential attributes for this role.
