Pay: £14.80 per hour
Positions Available:
- 2 × Full-Time Team Members (Base of 4 days)
- 1 × Part-Time Team Member (Base of 2 days per week)
Join the launch team for one of London’s most exciting new food stores.
This summer, Get Baked and Godfrey’s are opening their first shared retail space in the heart of Covent Garden, bringing together legendary cakes, popcorn, brownies, cookies, chocolate, soft serve, and more under one roof.
We’re looking for ambitious, energetic people to become part of our Founding Retail Team and help us launch this exciting new chapter from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning, help shape the customer experience, and grow alongside two rapidly expanding food brands.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating memorable experiences for every customer who walks through the door.
- Becoming knowledgeable about the Get Baked and Godfrey’s product ranges and confidently sharing that knowledge with customers.
- Maintaining exceptional visual merchandising standards and ensuring the shop always looks its best.
- Receiving deliveries, organising stock, and helping keep inventory accurate.
- Producing our handcrafted mallow.
- Building and serving premium ice cream sundaes.
- Serving pies, brownies, cookies, chocolate, and other products from across both brands.
- Supporting daily opening and closing procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety.
- Washing up and keeping preparation and service areas clean, organised, and ready for use.
- Completing routine shop cleaning tasks throughout the day.
- Working across different areas of the business as required throughout the day.

Physical Requirements
Our stockroom and storage areas are located in the basement and accessed via a staircase.
This role requires a reasonable level of physical fitness and stamina. Team members will regularly be required to:
- Carry stock, packaging, and supplies between the shop floor and basement storage areas.
- Make multiple trips up and down a flight of stairs throughout their shift.
- Lift and move deliveries safely.
- Spend extended periods on their feet throughout the day.
