We are a very friendly GP Practice within the village of Meigh, Newry.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for an experienced Practice Nurse with expertise in cervical screening, wound care, health promotion and preventative healthcare.
Duties
- Cervical Screening Clinics
- New Patient Screening Clinics
- Wound Care
- Immunisations
- Phlebotomy
- ECGs
- Blood Pressure Monitoring
Requirements
- Hold a current NMC Nursing Qualification and Registration
- Have previous nursing experience, ideally within a general practice setting
- Is confident undertaking cervical screening, wound care and health assessments
- Cervical Screening training is essential
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and information governance.
