Business Development Manager
Up to £35,000 basic salary – OTE £80,000

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a high-performing sales team.
This role is focused on converting qualified opportunities into new business sales through consultative demonstrations, relationship building, and solution-led selling. You will be responsible for managing your pipeline, achieving revenue targets, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Working Hours
40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday: 8:45am – 5:30pm
- 1 Saturday in 4: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client demonstrations and convert opportunities into new business sales
- Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline
- Achieve monthly KPIs, revenue targets, and performance objectives
- Deliver a consultative and solution-focused sales approach
- Build strong relationships with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Work collaboratively with sales colleagues to maximise team performance
- Maintain accurate diary and pipeline management
- Self-generate opportunities through networking, referrals, and social selling
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and customer service
- Ensure all sales activity is completed compliantly and ethically
- Act as a trusted adviser by understanding client challenges and proposing suitable solutions
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous Business Development, Sales, or Account Management experience
- Face-to-face sales experience preferred
- Strong consultative selling and presentation skills
- Experience working toward revenue targets and KPIs
- FCA-regulated insurance experience advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness with strong business acumen
- Highly organised with effective pipeline management skills
- Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
