Senior Insurance Auditor (Bermuda | Remote | 4-Month Contract)
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a Bermuda-based organisation operating within the insurance sector, for an experienced Senior Insurance Auditor to join their team remotely on a 4-month contract.
This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an audit or accounting professional with direct insurance industry experience to undertake financial reviews, risk analysis and technical assessment of insurance businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse insurance company financial statements, capital information and supporting documentation.
- Conduct financial and risk-based assessments, identifying key issues and preparing clear findings and recommendations.
- Participate in meetings with insurance businesses and assist with follow-up actions and reporting.
- Monitor insurance industry developments, financial performance and emerging areas of risk.
- Support a range of insurance-focused reviews, assessments and special projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ audit and/or accounting experience within the insurance industry.
- Experience auditing or accounting for insurance companies is essential.
- Strong financial reporting, risk analysis and accounting knowledge.
- CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Contract: 4 months | Location: Remote | Client: Bermuda-based
Pay: £44.00-£48.00 per hour
