Job Description:
C&N Chambers Seafood we are a shellfish processing factory here in Kilkeel, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. We seek to recruit a Production Team Leader/Supervisor to join our growing team and add value to the business. We process Cooked Seafood, Raw Seafood and supply our product's World Wide.
We operate Monday to Friday all Day shift and work the occasional saturday.
I am also flexible to the experience the person brings to match the rate. This role can be hourly or salary based. We want someone to come and add value to the team & business and hourly or salary will reflect this so rate on add is a guide.
This job role is based on site in our factory in Kilkeel, Co. Down, Northern Ireland BT34 4AX so you must live within driving distance.
- To allocate and supervise staff to different lines/areas to achieve overall production efficiency and to ensure that production targets are met.
- To control packaging, labels, etc, and sign off required documents
- To observe stock rotation and control
- Deal with KPIs and productivity.
- To deal with quality / process issues at the time.
- Troubleshoot – ‘Walking the line” to identify any issues ahead of them arising and taking appropriate action. Dealing with issues as and when required.
- To ensure that production records are accurately completed
- To ensure that appropriate Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene procedures are implemented at all times
- To lead by example and ensure that you and your team are adhering to company policies and procedures in relation to Product Quality, Food Safety and Integrity.
- Be a hands on person.
- To undertake other appropriate duties as deemed necessary within the scope of the role.
- Good level of both verbal and written English
- Minimum 1 years’ experience within Production Team Leader/ Supervisor Role within a food manufacturing environment
- Level 2 Food Safety
- Computer Literate
