We are currently looking to recruit a Facilities Cleaner for our site in Purfleet. The address for the site is: Unit Q2 Distribution Park, Purfleet Bypass, Purfleet, RM191NA.
The position available is 9.5 hours a week. There is flexibility within the hours please see below and when applying for this role please state which pattern would e suitable.
- Monday to Thursday 2 hours 0600-0800 / 1730-1930 / 1800- 2000
- Friday 1.5 hours 0600-0730 / 1730-1900 / 1800- 1930
The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out manual cleaning of office and canteen facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring the office are thoroughly cleaned each night to a high standard
- Cleaning of staff facilities such as the canteen and toilets
- Replenish any consumables required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
- Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
- Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying of waste bins
- Dusting and wiping furniture, ledges, chairs, and skirting boards
- Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
- Report anything in need of repair or replacement
- Record all cleaning tasks as directed
- Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors, and visitors to the site
The succesful candidate will need to have a DBS check.
You will report to the Area Service Delivery Manager
