We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our talented Food and Beverage Team at AFC Wimbeldon. We’re looking a finance focussed individual who is enthusiastic and self-driven.

We are recruiting this role on a full time (40 hour) permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the contract and site leadership teams through:

Processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, chasing invoices and liaising with suppliers
Raising invoices (system and manual) and ensuring all data and documentation is relevant and accurate
Assessing and communicating backups and invoice discrepancies whilst ensuring prompt payment of invoices within terms
Submission of weekly sales and banking to the central team
Supporting with period end and year end reporting
Supporting the operational team with stock input, reporting and analysis
Supporting the site leadership team with financial analysis to aid their decision making
Ad hoc projects as required

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has;

Strong levels of numeracy and written skills
Previous experience in a similar finance focussed role with exposure to administration, reconciliation and data entry in a fast paced operationally led business
Competent with using Microsoft Excel (including lookups)
IT literate with capability to use financial & stock management systems proficiently
Focused on their development within the finance function
A strong communicator with strong attention to detail and a true team player
