Job Summary
We are looking for a Gardener to join our team in carrying out regular garden maintenance for our clients.
The candidate
The ideal candidate will be hard working and enjoy a fast paced environment. We have a year round schedule so must be willing to work in the variable conditions that the seasons present us with.
We have regular interactions with our clients and put great emphasis on building long lasting relationships with them. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate confidently and in a professional manner.
The candidate should possess the skills and knowledge to carry out gardening work confidently and to a high standard, but training will be provided to make sure that our standards are met.
Responsibilities
You will be carrying out a range of garden maintenance duties including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, planting, weeding and pressure washing.
Requirements
- Horticultural qualifications would be advantageous but are not necessary. A good level of plant knowledge is required along with an understanding of gardening practices.
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be reliable and have good timekeeping skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- A willingness to work in all weathers
- Proficiency in using petrol powered tools such as mowers, blowers, strimmer's and hedge cutters along with a range of hand tools
- Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Have a passion for Gardening
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
