Job Title: Deputy Preschool Leader
Hours of Work: 25.5 hours per week (Term time only) (includes an additional hour – see note below);
Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri: 8.30am – 1pm; Thursday: 8.30am – 3pm.
(_Note_: In addition to the daily hours stated above, the Deputy Leader works an additional one hour to facilitate completion of administrative and IT tasks. This is worked at a mutually suitable time).
Applicants should be aware that – in line with Department of Education policy and increased funded Preschool provision – working hours may increase from Sept 2027.
Location: The Erskine Hall, 46 Ashley Drive, Bangor, Co Down BT20 5RD.
Salary: £13.80 per hour. Paid for 38 weeks plus 28 days holiday ie 43.6 weeks in total.
Main Purpose of the Job:
The Deputy Leader will support the Leader in the running of the Preschool to ensure safe, stimulating play in a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families. Pay: £13,500.00-£14,000.00 per year
