£13.10 per hour | Overtime £20.96 per hour | Weekly Pay
Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Hark Recruitment is looking for experienced Butchery Trimmers to join a busy and well-established meat processing factory in Pontefract (WF9).
If you have previous trimming or knife experience with pork, beef or lamb, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term, full-time work with a supportive team.
The Role
Working within a modern meat processing facility, you will be responsible for trimming and preparing meat products to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and food safety.
Duties include:
- Trimming pork, beef or lamb to specification
- Using knives safely and efficiently
- Removing excess fat, bone and sinew
- Maintaining high quality standards
- Following food hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
- Working as part of a busy production team
- Meeting daily production targets
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Previous butchery or meat trimming experience
- Experience working with at least one of the following:
- Pork
- Beef
- Lamb
- Good knife skills
- Ability to work in a chilled environment
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Able to work well as part of a team
Please note: A practical block test will be completed on site before employment.
Pay & Benefits
- £13.10 per hour
- Overtime paid at £20.96 per hour after 40 hours
