The Role
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Finance to lead our finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll oversee day-to-day finance operations while providing strategic financial leadership across the business. Working closely with our Food & Beverage, Membership, People and Operations teams, you'll drive financial performance, strengthen controls and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls and efficient processes.

Support the Finance Director in delivering the Company's financial strategy and long-term business objectives.

Own the budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes, providing commercial insight to support business performance and growth.

Partner with leaders across Food & Beverage, Membership, People and Operations to drive profitability and identify opportunities for improvement.

Produce timely management accounts, Board reporting, KPI dashboards, cash flow reporting and financial analysis.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, cash flow, payroll support and general ledger activities.

Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including statutory accounts, audit, VAT and tax compliance.

Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting and processes.

Lead, develop and inspire the Finance team, building a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Build strong relationships across the business, positioning Finance as a trusted commercial partner.
About you

Significant senior finance experience within luxury hospitality, hotels, private members' clubs or premium leisure.

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.

Strong technical accounting, reporting and audit knowledge.

Experience in budgeting, forecasting and commercial finance.

A track record of developing high-performing teams.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with cloud-based finance and ERP systems.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.

A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for luxury hospitality.
