Who We Are
RA Experts Limited provides skilled automotive professionals to dealerships and workshops across the UK. We work with a range of franchised dealer groups and independent automotive businesses, helping them with additional workshop support when required.
We are currently looking to hear from qualified Vehicle Technicians and MOT Testers who are interested in assignments across the West Midlands.
The Opportunity
Assignments can vary depending on the requirements of each dealership, with opportunities ranging from temporary workshop cover to longer placements lasting several months.
Typical duties may include:
- Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and inspections
- Carrying out MOT tests if appropriately qualified
- Identifying and diagnosing vehicle faults
- Using workshop diagnostic equipment
- Completing relevant job cards and workshop documentation
- Working in accordance with manufacturer and DVSA procedures
- Supporting the workshop team with day-to-day workload
Who We're Looking For
We would like to hear from technicians who have previous experience working within a dealership, garage or automotive workshop.
Applicants should ideally have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous hands-on vehicle technician experience
- Good mechanical and fault-finding knowledge
- A valid MOT Testing Licence for MOT Tester assignments
- Ability to work confidently within a busy workshop
- Full UK driving licence preferred
