Role Description
In the second phase of our recent growth strategy, Smart Aviation is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to support the company's digital presence across multiple social media platforms.
The intern will support the marketing team by creating and scheduling social media content across platforms, engaging with online audiences and monitoring performance. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with social media campaigns, drafting posts and visuals that reflect the Smart Aviation brand, and helping to maintain a consistent tone and presence. The intern will also contribute to digital marketing initiatives, conduct basic market and competitor research and prepare simple performance reports to inform future content and strategy.
This role is ideal for a student, graduate or aspiring marketer looking to gain hands-on experience within the private aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content.
- Design graphics using Canva or Adobe.
- Assist with filming and editing short-form videos.
- Schedule posts.

- Assist with website updates.

Requirements
Essential
- Excellent written English.
- Passion for social media.
- Creative mindset.
- Strong communication abilities to interact with internal teams and online communities.
- Knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok.
- Basic Canva skills.
Desirable
- Photography/videography experience.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- Marketing degree (or studying towards one).
- Interest in aviation or travel industry is beneficial.
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
