Are you ready to be part of an exciting new chapter? Brabyns Nursery is growing, and we are looking for a passionate, nurturing, and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team. Working with children aged 0 to 4 years, you will help us shape a safe, impeccably hygienic, and inspiring environment where our youngest learners can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Child Development: Plan and deliver purposeful, interactive play activities tailored to individual developmental stages, interests, and schemas.
- Key Person Role: Act as a Key Person, observing progress and maintaining high-quality "Learning Journeys" to share with parents.
- Daily Care & Well-being: Provide exceptional physical care (including feeding, changing, and sleep routines) in a respectful, hygienic environment.
- Safety Excellence: Maintain rigorous hygiene standards, clean equipment, and adhere strictly to dietary/allergy protocols during mealtimes.
- Team Collaboration: Work flexibly across our nursery rooms and assist with daily resource setup and pack-down.
What We Are Looking For:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Essential).
- Proven experience working with children under 5.
- A patient, observant, and highly organized team player.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
