The Role: Registered Nurse
Pay: £40,000 – £50,000 per year dependant on experience
Location: Barlborough
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Sunday, rota-based)
On-call: 1 week out of every 6
About the Role:
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a real difference? Josh’s Care Company is seeking a committed nurse to join our clinical team and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining clinical standards, supporting staff development, and improving outcomes for the individuals we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care and clinical oversight.
- Support and deliver clinical training to staff, ensuring best practice and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, audits, and quality assurance processes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals.
- Provide clinical advice and support as part of the on-call rota (1 week in 6).
- Support services across a 7-day rota to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Preceptorship for the right candidate available.
- Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to person-centred care.
- Experience within health or social care settings (learning disability experience desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work across Monday–Sunday rotas and on-call requirements.
- A proactive, supportive, and solution-focused approach.
