About the Role
Dyno Plumbing – Central & West London is looking for an experienced Leak Detection & Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who specialises in leak detection but is also confident carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance when leak detection work is not scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out non-invasive leak detection on domestic and commercial properties.
- Use specialist leak detection equipment, including:
- Tracer gas detection kits
- Thermal imaging cameras
- Accurately identify the source of hidden water leaks.
- Carry out permanent plumbing repairs following leak detection where required.
- Complete general plumbing repairs, maintenance and fault finding when leak detection work is not available.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in professional leak detection (applications without leak detection experience will not be considered).
- Strong plumbing background with the ability to diagnose and repair plumbing faults.
- Ability to carry out repairs after locating leaks.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Desirable
- Experience with insurance-related leak detection claims.
- Experience with thermal imaging and acoustic leak detection equipment.
- Water Regulations knowledge.
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
