Due to securing multiple new contracts, our client based within a state of the art modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a full time permanent basis. With an extremely healthy order book this an incredibly exciting time to be joining this business. Reporting into the Quality Manager you will;

Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, investigating quality issues and coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Assist with internal, customer, and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality standards.

Liaise with production, engineering, and purchasing departments to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous process improvements.

Prepare and distribute quality documentation packs, including inspection reports, material certificates, and compliance documentation for customers.

Monitor product quality throughout the casting process, supporting root cause analysis and ensuring products met customer specifications and quality requirements.

Process and manage product concession requests for non-conforming castings, ensuring all approvals were obtained before release.
This role would suit someone who has previous Quality experience working within the automotive, aerospace or medical industry or within a heat treatment, foundry, steelworks or castings environment.
