Dispatch operative – picker/packer

The role
As a dispatch operative, you'll be a key part of our fulfilment operation — making sure customer orders are picked accurately, packed with care, and dispatched on time, every time. This is hands-on, fast-paced work that genuinely matters: every order you send out represents us to a customer.
What you'll be doing
✓Using handheld scanners to pick items accurately from the despatch room against customer orders
✓Packing items securely and presentably, labelling correctly for despatch
✓Retrieving stock from the warehouse, including lifting and moving boxes
✓Keeping the workspace clean and organised — we all take ownership of our environment
✓Supporting stock control and inventory management
✓Following health and safety procedures at all times
✓Working as a team to hit daily targets — covering each other and communicating when it counts
What we're looking for
✓Previous experience in a warehouse picking and packing role, although not a neccesity
✓Comfortable with scanners and warehouse equipment
✓Strong attention to detail and organised by nature
✓A good communicator who works well with others
✓Flexible and reliable — including during busier periods when the team needs everyone
