Role Summary: As Insights Manager, you will be a consumer champion ensuring we put the end drinker at the heart of everything we do. Working closely with the Senior Insights Manager, you are part of a small team responsible for collecting, managing, and analysing data from various sources to provide insights that will drive business decisions and improve performance.
You will work with our key data providers and ensure we maximise return on our investment. You will be skilled at turning data into high quality, action-orientated insight and, importantly, be highly skilled at communicating those insights to different audiences.
You will be able to work closely with sales teams to explore opportunities and build arguments to help retain and win listings. You will also work closely with customers on range reviews and specific projects to help them manage their drinks categories and keep up with the latest trends.
You will need to think cross-category, not just wine, to support all areas of our commercial strategy and will be empowered to be think creatively developing new ways to ensure we live and breathe consumer insight across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Collect and analyse data from multiple sources, including 3rd party suppliers, market research, sales data, and customer feedback, to develop insights into industry trends, consumer behaviour, and product performance.
Maintain data models and dashboards that provide meaningful and actionable insights to the business
Manage specific projects and work as designated by the Senior Brand and Insights Manager
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations for new product development, brand planning and overall company strategy
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, and provide guidance to the business on how to use data to improve performance
Act as a voice of the consumer within Kingsland – ensuring all activity is aligned and in tune with the end drinker
Support Sales teams with range reviews and ad hoc customer insight requests
Support the development of KDL’s insights beyond wine and into Ready-to-drinks, spirits and no/low-alcohol categories
Create engaging presentations and other data visualisations for internal and customer use
Qualifications, Experience, Values, and Behaviours:
· Proven experience in data analysis within UK FMCG, preferably within the drinks industry
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
· Excellent computer literacy
· Ability and confidence in interactions with internal senior management and key customer contacts
· Highly self-motivated and proactive
